Become a St. Mary’s High School student

In just four short years at St. Mary’s, our students grow socially, academically and in their faith to help them succeed in college and beyond. We’re delighted that you’re interested in joining the St. Mary’s family. Based on your child’s current grade level, there are a few action items we recommend you and your child take to apply for admission.

September – Open House

September – Open House

Open House 2017 will take place in September. Prospective students and their families are invited to meet current students, administration, faculty, staff, coaches, parents, graduates, and members of our Board of Trustees. It’s a great opportunity to determine how St. Mary’s High School can be the right fit for your family.

October – Application forms

Application forms for admission to St. Mary’s are available online and a portion needs to be submitted to your son/daughter’s elementary or middle school office. October is also a time for students to shadow and see what it’s like to be a part of the Lancers family.

November – HSPT Review Course & Exam

The Placement Exam Review Course runs in mid-November. All essential elements of the placement exam are covered, and practice tests assist students with critical thinking and test-taking skills.

The Placement Exam is the Saturday before Thanksgiving, 8 a.m.–Noon and costs $20. Eighth grade students interested in attending St. Mary’s must register to take the placement exam. Criteria for awards and scholarships are primarily based on each student’s placement exam test results.
