Based on the hit film, Legally Blonde follows Elle Woods, a sorority star who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School and discovers that she is far more than anyone expected, including herself. It is a high-energy, laugh-out-loud story about believing in yourself, standing up for others and staying true to who you are. With catchy songs, bold choreography and plenty of pink, it is a show the whole family will love.
Our Lancers have spent months preparing: learning lines, perfecting dance numbers, building sets and running lights and sound. On stage and behind the scenes, these students have poured their talent, time and heart into this production. There is no better way to show them how proud we are than by filling every seat.
This production also has a special four-legged star. Penny, the dog playing Elle’s loyal sidekick Bruiser, is an adoptable rescue from Sadie’s Safe Harbour who is still searching for her forever family. Ms. Jen VanDuzer is generously covering Penny’s adoption fee in hopes that she finds a home with a St. Mary’s family. Come see Penny shine! You might just fall in love.
